Every year we host a free Developer Evening for our local Durban Developers to unite the developer community, learn new tools and techniques and get up to date on what’s trending and up and coming. Oh, we get to indulge in some free beer and tasty treats! Here is why you don’t want to miss out on these awesome events:
Dev evenings allow you to build relationships and network with other software developers, architects, tech gurus and industry experts. You get to meet new people and discuss interesting tech-related topics. There are people from all walks of life; some from corporate environments, software development houses, entrepreneurs and even students who attend our evenings.
Building lasting relationships within the community of Developers helps us share our knowledge and skills with one another.
“When you create connections based on shared interests and goals, you’ll be more successful at your job, because people want to work with people they know and like.” – Shelley Zalis, CEO and founder of The Female Quotient and OTX.
We have a number of industry experts and evangelists address our local developers. Topics are always tech related, current and sometimes controversial, keeping us engrossed from beginning to end. We are kept up to date with the latest technology, apps and tools available. Our speakers are passionate about what they do and there’s nothing better than sharing first-hand experience!
These events inspire developers to go out and try the new techniques and tools that they have been exposed to. In being present at our Dev Evening and hearing first-hand the interesting stories the presenters have to tell (yes, these are real developers telling their stories) inspires you to take action and try new things.
We have set the date for this year’s Developer Evening, and we’re pretty excited about the lineup. As you know these events are free and it is essential to book your seat as space is limited.
If you need a software solution, you’ve come to the right place!
